MADE Skillshare: Printing: From Display to Paper

MADE members share skills that keep the museum going! In this session, we'll use a large format printer to bring our digital art to paper.

THEORY

Printing is hard! We'll take some time to walk through the evolution of printing, arriving upon the importance of standard postscript formats, especially pdf. This will lead to some discussion of this in practice, from the pre-printing process to the final print.

PRACTICE

The MADE needs stuff to be printed! We've got signs, informational placards, donor acknowledgement, and more. Together, we'll add registration marks, print using a large format printer, and, if time permits, do some mounting on to foam core.
